The Project Manager's Compensation Event Notification (PMNCE) is a communication issued by the Project Manager to notify the Contractor of a compensation event. It is generated for any of the following scenarios: Project Manager certifies takeover before completion. the Project Manager changes a previously-communicated decision to the Contractor, Project Manager notifies a correction to an assumption about the nature of a compensation event, and when the Supervisor informs the Project Manager that after a defect search was performed that no defect was found. It follows a three step workflow: Initiate > Review > Issue.
